Career: Secondary

Students in Grades 8-12 have many opportunities to engage in career education and career planning. 

These may include: 

  • Special presentations throughout the year to explore career pathways and work opportunities 
  • Post-secondary presentations and events 
  • Post-secondary tours on Vancouver Island and the mainland 
  • Job fairs within the community 
  • Interactive community-related activities both on and off campus 
  • Work experience and apprenticeship opportunities 
  • Hands-on learning activities to engage students in ADST 
  • Clubs and fairs to get students interacting with each other, the community, and new learning tools and devices 
  • Support with post-secondary searching, planning and applying
